Control Room Operator X 3
Location: Witpoort, Midrand Position Type: Permanent EE/AA: Not Applicable
As a Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of our clients. Ideal candidates will be flexible, have a strong attention to detail, and be available for shift work, including public holidays and the festive season.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras, alarms, and systems.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and coordinate with on-site personnel by following standard operating procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities.
- Ensure communication is effective between the control room, security staff, and clients.
- Check cameras and report any that are not functioning correcly.
Requirements
- South African Citizen
- PSIRA Registered, minimum C grade.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
- Must reside in or near Midrand/Centurion.
- Must be able to do shift work, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and the festive season.
- Preferably have own transport.
- Prior experience in a control room or security role is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy, including working in Microsoft Windows, using a web browser and WhatsApp.
